Stop the Legal Lynching of Troy Davis! The Whole Damn System is Guilty!

BREAKING NEWS

Troy Davis has been DENIED Clemency!
The Whole Damn System is Guilty!

TroyDavis

Tuesday morning, September 20:
The Georgia Board of Pardons and Paroles has
denied Troy Davis clemency. This means that they
have upheld his execution which is scheduled for
Wednesday, September 21 at 7:00pm.

This is a complete and utter outrage and shows
once again the bankruptcy of a system that will
execute a potentially innocent man in the face of
mounting evidence of reasonable doubt.

ACT NOW!
Demonstrations are taking place in Georgia today
and tomorrow.  [Plan your own or link up with ones
going on near you.]
Call the Chatham County (Savannah) District
Attorney Larry Chisolm and demand he seek a
withdrawal of the death warrant and support
clemency himself.

Twenty years ago, Troy Davis was convicted solely on
the basis of witness testimony - seven of the nine original
witnesses have since recanted or changed their testimony.
Many of these witnesses have stated in sworn affidavits
that they were pressured or coerced by police into
testifying or signing statements against Troy Davis.
