Starring Ivan Dixon and Abbey Lincoln. Directed by Michael Roemer, written by Michael Roemer and Robert M. Young.

Described by Malcolm X as his favorite film, it is set in the rural South in 1964 and insists on portraying the full humanity of Black people - objectively a revolutionary act at the time.
